You can’t beat a good meat free burger with all the trimmings – and this one is popular at Australian burger chain Grill’d.


  • 1 hamburger bun
  • 1 Beyond Meat patty (or plant-based patty)
  • cos lettuce
  • tomato, sliced
  • beetroot, sliced
  • Spanish onion, sliced
  • avocado, smashed
  • 1 slice of vegan cheese
  • tomato relish
  • vegan mayonnaise


Cook the burger patty according to packet instructions and melt a vegan cheese slice on top of it. Then assemble the ingredients in the following order:

1. Hamburger bun base

2. Tomato relish

3. Cos lettuce

4. Sliced tomato

5. Sliced Spanish onion

6. Sliced beetroot

7. Beyond Meat patty (or plant-based patty) with vegan cheese slice melted on top

8. Vegan mayo

9. Smashed avocado

10. Hamburger bun top
