The search for Britain's tastiest meat-free dish is over... but who won? Meat Free Monday founder Paul McCartney tells you himself on the video below.

Hundreds of recipes have been submitted since November, when the competition was launched by Linda McCartney Foods, and whittled down to three finalists.

Kate Ford from Hertfordshire, Susan Edwards from Shropshire and Robert Stordy of Derbyshire were chosen for their creative and original dishes, all deemed delicious for both vegetarians and non-vegetarians.

Kate created a hearty mushroom, ale and puy lentil pie, Susan a “butternut squash and spinach lasagne’ and Robert a vegetarian moussaka.

But whose dish has the Great British public and a celebrity panel, including MFM’s own Mary McCartney, voted the best of the best, worthy of becoming the latest delicious addition to the Linda McCartney food range?
