Doughnut Mummies

Ditch those sugar-filled nasties and make these mummies for a healthy, gluten-free dessert or breakfast!
Ingredients
For the doughnuts
- 60 g plant-based milk
- 110 g fruit syrup (e.g. Sweet Freedom Caramel Syrup, Vanilla Syrup or Fruit Syrup*)
- 1 teaspoon white or apple cider vinegar
- 3½ tablespoons coconut oil
- 95 g (1 cup) oat flour
- 1 teaspoon baking powder
For the decoration
- edible vegan eyes
- chocolate sauce (e.g. Sweet Freedom Choc Shot)
Method
Preheat the oven to 180°C/350°F/gas mark 4 and lightly grease a doughnut tray. Combine all doughnut ingredients in a large bowl and mix together thoroughly.
Spoon the batter into the doughnut tray. Bake for 25 minutes or until firm to the touch.
Drizzle the chocolate sauce diagonally over the doughnuts and stick the edible eyes on top.
