Odette’s chef/owner Bryn Williams passionately believes that vegetables can be the star of the show, as highlighted by his recently published cookbook For the Love of Veg which is 70% vegetarian. Odette’s has offered a vegetarian tasting menu for the past six years and a growing number of meat-eaters are opting for this, or choosing vegetarian dishes from the a la carte menu.
“Growing up on a farm vegetables were a big thing for us, and to this day I love cooking with them,” said Williams. “There are so many great British vegetables to choose from and I really believe that they deserve just as much respect as meat, fish or any other ingredient”.
Odette’s vegetarian tasting menu includes Glazed Parsnip & Carrot, Walnut Pesto & Cep; Artichoke en Croute, Aubergine, Tomato & Olive; and Blackberry, Yoghurt & Lemon Curd Pavlova. While the menu is available every day, the MFM offer – on Mondays only – includes a free glass of Prosecco. Check out the full menu here.
