With MFM co-founder Paul McCartney preparing for his ‪'Out There' tour, Meat Free Monday wondered … what does a legendary superstar eat when he’s on the road?

Paul and his team are looked after by EYHO, a rock ‘n’ roll touring catering company that has been going, in many different forms, for the past 30 years. Clients range from rock legends Bob Dylan and Neil Young to pop chart toppers Madonna and Eurythmics. Paul has been a treasured client for EYHO since he began touring again in the late 80s, having taken them around the world many times since then.

Tours are always ‘Meat Free’ and EYHO’s approach to this is practical. “We simply make great food everyday and leave out the meat,” said owner of EYHO, Kim Davenport.

The company is proud of its ability to absorb local culinary flavours as well serve old favourites from home. This results in imaginative and exciting meat-free food which goes down well.

“I’m sure plenty of vegetarians are sick of settling for the only option of a warm goats cheese tart,” said George Baker, EYHO’s Dressing Room Catering Co-ordinator, who will be going on the tour. “Our whole team is passionate about food and that is reflected in everything we serve.”

Paul will be #OutThere in South America (Uruguay, Chile, Peru, Ecuador, Costa Rica) before heading to Japan, South Korea and the States.
