Highlighting how to reduce greenhouse gas emissions while having fun trying out different foods and recipes from around the world, the cookbook contains a variety of original recipes and is free to download.
Recipes, including ‘Andean Fritada’ from Ecuador, ‘Tabbouleh with a Twist’ from The United Arab Emirates and MFM’s own British classic ‘Meat Free Cottage Pie’ reflect each nation’s unique culture, customs and cuisine.
“On behalf of Meat Free Monday, we are delighted to be involved with this global cookbook showcasing delicious meat free recipes from Belgium to Brazil, Jamaica to Japan,” said Paul, Mary and Stella McCartney. “It’s good to see how the meat free movement is growing as people worldwide discover the positive environmental and health impact of skipping meat for at least one day a week.”
