Spooky, sweet, and utterly delicious – these Halloween biscuits vanish in no time!

Ingredients

  • 235 g dairy-free butter
  • 100 g caster sugar
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 325 g plain flour, sieved
  • pinch salt

Method

Preheat the oven to 180°C (350°F) and line a baking tray with parchment paper.

Cream together the dairy-free butter and caster sugar.

Add the vanilla, flour and the pinch of salt and bring together to form a ball of biscuit dough.

Lightly flour the surface and roll out the dough to about 5mm thick. Use Halloween-themed cookie cutters (witch’s hats, pumpkins, bats, ghosts) to cut out shapes.

Place the biscuits on the lined tray and bake for 12-15 minutes, until the edges are lightly golden.

Let the biscuits cool completely on a wire rack. Decorate with coloured icing.

Arrange on a platter for a Halloween party and watch them disappear fast!
