In some cultures the food at this time of year tends to be quite meat-heavy, so it’s reassuring to know that traditional meat dishes can be recreated using purely plant-based ingredients. Vegetarian “turkey” roasts, “ham” roasts, thick rich “meaty” gravies and sauces – the options are vast!
