The Less Is More Challenge comprises of 10 simple suggestions, covering aspects of normal life including healthy eating, being more mindful of waste and going ‘Meat Free’ one day a week.

Founded in 2013 by Claire Lewis, a lifestyle blogger, Earth Scientist and mother with the motto “Making it Cool to Care about the Environment”, the emphasis of the challenge is simplicity and the positive impacts we can all have on the Earth.

“People are generally really busy getting through day to day life,” said Lewis. “Sometimes the less you have to do generates the biggest impact”.

With positive feedback from the public, as well as eco/green companies/projects worldwide such as TerraCycle, Ecover and the film ‘Trashed’ starring Jeremy Irons, the challenge is gathering momentum.

The 10 steps are simple but effective, and on a mass scale the impacts are greater.
