The group owns 30 hotels around the UK and was crowned Hotel Group of the Year at the AA Hospitality Awards in February.
But its hospitality to meat-reducers and meat-free eaters has now also been recognised, with more than a quarter of its menu suitable for vegetarians.
Its specialities include Sweet Potato & Spinach Curry, Panzanella Salad and Singapore Noodle with Chick Peas.

“Thistle’s restaurants are going from strength to strength and we are always looking for ways to develop our menus to offer even more choice and high-quality options to all our diners.”
With more people than ever before being convinced by the health and environmental arguments to cut down on the amount of meat they eat, the hospitality industry is waking up to benefits of catering to a growing demographic.
In October, the Nordic Light Hotel in Stockholm became the first in the world to introduce Meat Free Monday, serving no meat at all at the start of the week, and in the future may roll out MFM across the 170 hotels in the Nordic Choice group.
