Publishers Kyle Books are being presented with the award today in a ceremony at the Theatre Folies Bergère in Paris, before the start of the Paris Cookbook Fair tomorrow.
The annual awards aim to reward those who “cook with words”, something the judges clearly felt MFM’s first foray into food writing had achieved.
The book features 312 recipes for every Monday of the year including a breakfast, packed lunch, lunch, side/snack, dinner and dessert for each Monday of the year and contributions from famous chefs and celebrities.
As Paul, Mary and Stella McCartney write in the foreword: “The idea of one meat-free day per week is something that many people find do-able and something that, with the help of this book, can be achieved relatively easily.”
