Meat Free Monday ran a competition in the summer term inviting young people to design a poster to raise awareness of Meat Free Monday and inspire others to get involved.
We received over 300 entries, from more than 20 schools, including loads of really creative ideas and original designs. Paul, Mary and Stella McCartney were very impressed with the high standard of work – so impressed, in fact, that they added a third prize to the first, second and commended prizes.
“We all really appreciate the work you put into your poster and we will try to use it in our campaign”, Paul wrote to each student who entered.
Prizes included Meat Free Monday cookbooks signed by Paul, Mary and Stella, professionally-printed copies of the winner and second place posters, book tokens and tote bags. Every school which entered received a pack of Meat Free Monday pens.
MFM is delighted to announce the full results below. Check out the winning posters here.
