The Swedish-language version of the award-winning recipe book will be officially unveiled at lunchtime today during a seminar at the Bok & Bibliotek book fair in Gothenburg.
The presentation will be made by Sweden’s MFM manager and Green Party politician Jonas Paulsson, the recipient of last year’s environmental hero prize.
Köttfri Måndag Kokbok will be available in the country’s bookshops from next week, published by Isaberg. The Meat Free Monday Cookbook won the “Special Prize of the Jury” at the Gourmand World Cookbook Awards earlier this year,
Already a success in many other parts of the world, it is expected that Köttfri Måndag Kokbok will be especially popular in Sweden, given the commitment of its people to green issues.
A MFM cookery workshop was launched in Stockholm in May, while last year a hotel in the Swedish capital became the first in the world to go completely Meat Free Monday.
