The International Semiotics Institute
“Eating is a primary need, and therefore a primary form of active citizenship: choosing what to eat or not to eat is a simple yet effective way to change a society. What we also like about MFM is the idea of picking one specific day of the week: it increases the awareness of the decision, and therefore its freedom value. The deeper the awareness, the greater the freedom.” – Dario Martinelli
Dario Martinelli is the Director of The International Semiotics Institute, based in Kaunas University of Technology (Lithuania), which is devoted to the study of the current problems and opportunities of the humanities, and their position within society.
