Poster competition

Meat Free Monday ran a competition in the summer term, 2017, inviting young people to design a poster to raise awareness of the Meat Free Monday and inspire others to get involved. There were over 300 entries, including loads of really creative ideas and original designs!

Music

Students at Preston Manor All-Through Co-operative Trust School explored Meat Free Monday in Year 9 curriculum music lessons. They worked in groups using the Musical Futures ethos (i.e. students determining their own groups, selecting instruments and then working with the teacher stepping back, and becoming more of a facilitator). Pieces were then recorded in the school’s studio. The results represent a typically Preston Manor inclusive range both of musical style and student composer/performers.
